Is the nail polish halal?

Our Mersi collection is made with a unique lab certified breathable formula and 100% Halal Ingredients, free of animal by-products certified by ISWA Halal Certification. Breathable nail polish is a healthier alternative to typical nail polish. It allows water and oxygen to permeate through its layer. Essentially, allowing our nails to breathe and stay hydrated.

Is the nail polish suitable for Whudu (ablution)?

Merjan has conducted several tests, and we can confirm that water does penetrate the nail polish when the nail is rubbed. However, in-order to safeguard one's Salah we recommend removing the nail polish and perform your Whudu as intended.

Is the nail polish products vegan friendly?

Yes! Vegan & Cruelty-Free — We are strongly against the use of animal by products and animal testing. Contrary to common understanding typical nail polish is often made with animal by-products. All the products we source are  Vegan & Cruelty-Free.

Is the nail polish chemical free?

PETA Certified Vegan & cruelty-free — Mersi nail polish is free of the 11 major harsh chemicals often found in regular nail polish. Mersi nail polish does not contain parabens, formaldehyde & many other hard to pronounce chemicals. Creating and offering healthier, ethical alternatives is one of our core objectives.
